Channeline, provider of bespoke structural glass reinforced plastic (GRP) lining systems, has shared behind-the-scenes footage of its latest project in Los Angeles (LA) in the US.
The company installed 1310m of Channeline GRP slip liners to rehabilitate vital buried infrastructure in the west coast-based city.
The project showcases the custom engineering Channeline specialises in, which involved manufacturing liners in two profiles and three sizes (57-inch, 48-inch, and 39-inch), including two curved sections and a seamless transition.
Channeline thanked Mladen Buntich Construction for its expert installation and the City of LA for trusting it to extend the lifespan of this critical sewer.
The GRP structural lining systems company used its trenchless technology to work on the project using precision, innovation, and teamwork.
Since the early 1980s, Channeline has accumulated unrivalled engineering and manufacturing experience for both circular and non-circular buried infrastructure worldwide.
Its unique technology enables it to create systems in any shape and any size for the trenchless rehabilitation of sewers, tunnels, culverts, stormwater and other buried infrastructures.
Channeline’s products range from standard liners to crown and inverts, lateral connections and fittings, manholes, and more.
During the past 40-odd-years, Channeline has undertaken and completed more than 500 projects in more than 30 countries, and it made trenchless history by developing the first ever multi-segmental liners, which were used on a project in Buffalo, New York.
Its global projects have included providing solutions and rehabilitating infrastructure in countries such as Colombia, the United Kingdom, the US, Australia and New Zealand.
When working on projects, Channeline focuses on health, safety and the environment, as well as quality assurance. It holds various certificates and accreditations, including required ones related to its manufacturing facility’s operations.
