The Pittsfield Department of Public Services and Utilities is undertaking a sewer relining project in the city, with work continuing this week.
The aging sewer system will be relined to restore its structural integrity for many years to come. Works are slated to take place on Danforth Avenue, Wahconah Street and Park Street from 7am–7pm Monday-Wednesday, and 7pm–7am on Thursday–Friday.
Impacted streets will be closed off to the public during overnight work, excluding residents and emergency vehicles.
