OptionX Group is excited to welcome Karl Dewstow – a highly experienced specialist in trenchless technology – to its global team.
Dewstow served more than a decade at Vermeer as a pipeline applications specialist and Asia-Pacific pipeline specialist. During his time at Vermeer, he played a key role in supporting trenchless installation projects across the region, focusing on trenchless technology, horizontal directional drilling (HDD) and pipeline solutions. He was also an integral member of the AXIS® Guided Boring System product support team.
His career spans more than two decades in the drilling and trenchless industry, having held roles as a drilling consultant at Worldwide Machinery Solutions, a directional driller at Primal Drilling, and a consultant driller with Asia Pacific International Trenchless.
His deep expertise in trenchless technology, HDD operations, training, and project execution has taken him across New Zealand, Australia, India, and Singapore, contributing to the successful implementation of trenchless solutions in diverse environments.
Dewstow has now joined OptionX Group, where he will represent the group’s interests in New Zealand and acting as product specialist for trenchless equipment and consumables as the company expands its offerings in this space.
His wealth of knowledge and hands-on experience will play a key role in supporting customers and delivering innovative solutions to the market.
With a career built on innovation, hands-on expertise, and leadership in the pipeline and drilling sector, Dewstow remains a respected figure in the industry and a key part of OptionX Group’s growing global presence.
