Norditube Technologies, provider of trenchless pipe rehabilitation, has rehabilitated a fire extinguishing line of 722m (2368 feet) at the second busiest international airport in the world.
The line required the perfect fit of technology, project management, multi-team coordination, and experience to ensure proper rehabilitation during the busiest time of the year – the festive season.
NordiTube partnered with IWJS, MGroup, RK Air, and Ferrovial to deliver this complicated project, which consisted of two separate installations of 350m (1150 feet) of DN762 (30-inch diameter) TUBETEX fire main rehabilitation projects to meet a 21 bar (300 PSI) test pressure in systems with multiple 90 degree bends.
