The United Kingdom Society for Trenchless Technology (UKSTT) is hosting an open webinar to welcome those new to the industry with a valuable networking opportunity.
Designed to help new and existing trenchless professionals understand the full scope and benefits of trenchless technologies, this network will be developed with online and in person events throughout 2025. The next meeting takes place on Thursday 15 May from 2.00pm – 4.00pm BST (British summer time).
The event will begin with a welcome and introduction by UKSTT vice chair Tim Sargent, who will provide a reminder of the objectives of the ‘New to trenchless industry’ initiative and outline the related events.
UKSTT Technical and Education Subcommittee chair Iain Naismith will then present an overview of trenchless rehabilitation and repair technologies. This will be followed by Steve Brogden from Die Draw, who will deliver a presentation on trenchless rehabilitation applications, focusing on the flexibility and benefits of using polyethylene (PE) materials.
Clancy Group trenchless specialist Frank Sweene will then give a presentation on cured in place pipelining (CIPP).
The webinar will end with a Q&A session with all three speakers, providing an opportunity for attendees to engage directly with the experts.
