Canadian horizontal directional drilling (HDD) company Brothers HDD has successfully exited on a frozen lake project in Canada’s North-East Alberta region.
With the borehole now complete, the next phase of the project will begin soon to unlock the water supply.
Brothers HDD provides services across Western Canada to deliver superior service for a wide range of directional drilling jobs.
Using advanced technology and top of the line Ditch Witch and Vermeer equipment, it does the work in less time, and with less disruption than conventional ditching and drilling operations.
Brothers HDD is based out of Wainwright Alberta although it has no borders. The company employs on average more than 40 full time staff – some have been with the company since it was created in 2009.
Brothers HDD offers both light rig and maxi rig HDD drills capable of drilling in all soil conditions as well rock with its AT100 All Terrain drills.
Its fleet consists of 181,000kg, 453,000kg, 907,000kg all the way to 249,000kg pullback capacity. Its mud recycling units consist of the following: ELGIN, Kemtron 600 and Vermeer R9 X 12T to support its clients’ mud handling requirements. Additionally, it offers HDD services to anyone requiring minimal impact to the environment.
Some industries it provides its services to are oil and gas companies, pipeline operators, pipeline contractors, municipal government departments, roads and infrastructure departments, and farm/ranch and acreage owners.
What it offers is an HDD Service that can meet its clients’ needs – this can range from pipelines (oil/gas/casings) to utilities (power/water/fibre/conduit/cathodic protection).
Brothers HDD has established an excellent health and safety score card – all pertinent HSE information is available on: ISN, CQN and Comply Works. Brothers HDD has an A&D policy in effect covering al safety sensitive positions.
