Azuria Water Solutions has announced its acquisition of BLD Services, a national provider of trenchless pipeline rehabilitation services based in Kenner, Louisiana.
The acquisition enhances Azuria’s capabilities in lateral pipeline rehabilitation and strengthens its leadership in technology-enabled water infrastructure solutions.
Since its founding in 2001, BLD Services has become the nation’s largest manufacturer and installer of cured-in-place pipe (CIPP) lateral liners.
Specialising in trenchless technologies, the company delivers efficient, minimally invasive solutions across central and eastern United States. Its underground utilities group is also a major provider of water pipeline services along the Louisiana Gulf Coast.
BLD manufactures its Service Connection Seal + Lateral (SCS+L) system in Nashville, Tennessee, adhering to strict quality and safety standards.
It is a trusted vendor for the Purchasing Cooperative of America and holds a COSTARS contract that supports procurement for public agencies in Pennsylvania.
BLD will continue to operate independently, supported by Azuria’s national resources. The company’s leadership team, including president Dan Wagner and vice president Jacob Trapani, Sr., will remain in place to guide ongoing operations.
Azuria Water Solutions president and chief executive Rob Tullman said the acquisition brings valuable trenchless expertise and seasoned talent into Azuria’s growing network of services.
“BLD’s reputation is unmatched, and its teams include top industry talent,” he said. “The company brings several important capabilities to Azuria’s growing list of services.”
Since 1971, Azuria has been an industry leader in applying advanced technology and trenchless methods to maintain and renew critical water systems.
