The International Society for Trenchless Technology (ISTT) has announced the opening of applications for the Albert Shou student scholarship program.
Specifically for affiliated societies, the ISTT invites students to apply for this scholarship, which aims to support exceptional academic research in trenchless technology.
An ISTT spokesperson said the society was now seeking qualified students in this field. “Membership in your society is not required; however, the submission must be approved by your society before it is submitted by either the student or the society staff,” the ISTT said.
“Your involvement will help ensure that talented students gain recognition within our global community.”
The scholarship is being funded by Chinese company ASOE Hose Manufacturing, which has committed to a minimum of three years of annual funding of $10,000.
The winner of the scholarship will have the opportunity to present their paper at the International No-Dig Vancouver/No-Dig North 2025 (27-29 October 2025).
Submissions close 15 August at 5pm US EDT.
