The ISTT Technology and Education Committee has unveiled a new AI-powered feature on its website, designed to make trenchless technology information more accessible and user-friendly.
Called ISTT Whisperer, the AI tool is now live on the Trenchless Technology Chart page.
It enables users to ask questions related to trenchless technology and receive instant responses, based on the detailed content available on the chart.
The system supports spoken questions, and replies are delivered both on screen and via voice. It is immediately accessible to all users, with no login required, and is available in 10 languages to serve the global trenchless community.
Each session lasts up to five minutes, after which users can simply wait a short time before re-engaging. The tool removes the need to navigate through multiple pages and aims to simplify access to key technical information.
ISTT is inviting users to share their experiences and suggestions by emailing info@istt.com, to help further develop and refine the feature.
